This Week in Science (Daphnia and Introduced Species)

What i Did this week was learn about the Daphnia and how they survie and can they survive off a cigarette bud. we also put the nickateen in the Daphnia to see how it would react. we wanted to see if it would survie or would it kill the dolphin.

what i learn this week is that nickateen kills Daphnia and its very addicted to people . nickateen is what makes people smoke even more.

This Week in Science (No Impact Man)

No Impact Man Long Project was to not use electric , water and papers. they went long with out using tissue, tv, maginzes they use ice to keep they food cold and wash thier clothes in the bath tub.

the No Impact Man lower his negative impact on the enivorment because they didn't  use alot of things that can hurt the enviorment. they had help the enviorment by cutting out on things they didn't need.

i though it was very crazy cause i couldnt live like that. it would be hard because i would need to use all of those every day.

Post 10: This Week in Science (Fruit Fly DYO Part 1)

     What iDid this week in Science was the Fruit Fly DYO . We had to see how the fruit flies where looking like. We had to make sure there where Adults in the Vain. We also had to count the amount of adults that where inside . and how much babys where left .
    What I Learn this week in Science was that Adults have red eyes and they survie off the food thats in there vain. They make over 8O Babys in a week.

Post 9: This Week in Science (Fruit Flies Part 2)

          What I Did this week in science was graphed about how many babies the fruit flies could have in 3 weeks. We also put the spider in the tank. Then we gave the spider fruit flies to eat.  We gave the fruit flies " FlieNap " so they could go to sleep so we could be able to take them out the jar. You had to leave the FlieNap for 4 mins so the fruit flies could fall asleep.
       
       What I Learn this week in science was that a female fruit fly can have 20 babies each day.  That the male fruit flies has a dark bottom and the female has a lighter bottom.In 3 weeks a female fruit flies could make 420 babies.

                     If I put 2 males and 1 female fruit flies in a vial for 3 weeks .. Then I Expect to obesrve how many 420 adults because a felame gives 20 eggs a day

Post 8: This Week in Science (Fruit Flies Part 1)

What I Did this week in science was look at the habitat and saw what had changed in it.I noticed... that the moss grow bigger, the plants grew , there where fruit flies in the habitat . These things made me wonder... was how the moss grow with out water.

Post 7: This Week in Science (Ecosystems)

          What I did this week in Science was , to design the tank , do my test corrections , my habitat map , question wall , we visited the fishtank store , went to the community gsrden , meet bob , research organisms , looked for insects , and learn how to put a moss on a rock.
      
       What I Learn this week in Science was how moss grows on rock , how insects will survive in a tank , we learn the carbon - oxygen cycle , i learned interesting facts about organisms.

      I Am Curious about knowing if you dont cover up the terrarium what will happen to the dirt , insects and Etc ..

This Week in Science (Spider Habitat Design)

      What I Did this week in Science is made a drawing of an terrarium. Also I had to label all the parts, include and identify one food chain, and List biotic and abiotic factors and Etc... We played a game called Carbon Cycle. We had to write down some notes about the game , and we learn about limiting factor.

    What I Learn In the carbon cycle, plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. When the Carbon Cycle is moving it uses the same source. Carbon Cycle is like Carbon Dioxide. the same carbon atom can move through many organisms and even end in the same place where it began.
